A Singaporean in Paris is a “juke box musical” that pays tribute to Singapore artists and French musical culture.

This one-of-a-kind musical revue features top Singapore artists singing songs from some of the greatest French songwriters and performers-- Michel Legrand, Charles Aznavour, and Gilbert Becaud

Singapore now has its own Dance Delight! This established and high calibre street dance competition is already held in major cities such as Berlin, New York, Paris, Seoul,  Shanghai, Taipei and Tokyo. 

Singapore Dance Delight Vol 1 promises to be an awe-inspiring spectacle and your body can't help but move to the music. The competition will showcase athletic and creative routines by the most talented dancers from Singapore and from the region, vying to be named the winning dance crew of the first ever Dance Delight in Singapore. The winning crew goes on to compete for the ultimate title in Japan Dance Delight Vol 17 held in Osaka, Japan in August.

Asia's Number 1 Band – Mayday! Well known for their high energy concert performance would be coming back to Singapore at The Padang on 17 April 2010 for their first ever ticketed outdoor Concert at The Padang . Besides expecting a more interesting program line-up, fans can expect a brand new Concert experience with a 360 degree stage design specially set-up with extended catwalk. Well-known for their extravagant stage set-up complementing state of art audio & visual effects, audiences can expect more from Mayday's DNA Singapore Concert. Building a nuclear cell on stage at The Padang, and capturing your attention with 4-Dimensional opening movie…..Mayday promises a dynamic performance and immersive experience for all!

CHICAGO will return to Singapore from 16 April to 9 May 2010, for a strictly limited season at the Esplanade Theatre with an all-star cast including the award-winning Sharon Millerchip (Roxie Hart) and Craig McLachlan (Billy Flynn).

This dinner held at the Singapore Flyer will be the first of its kind in the WGS calendar.

The Chingay Parade Singapore is an annual street parade to celebrate Singapore's multi-cultural uniqueness, and is a colourful extravaganza of exciting floats and performances. Chingay is part of Singapore's unique way of celebrating the lunar new year.

Chingay Parade Singapore 2010 will take place at the F1 Pit Building at Marina Bay. Visitors can purchase tickets for seats at the 36,000-strong grandstand or simply stand along the parade route.

Chingay has enjoyed a long tradition, with its first parade dating back to 1973. Its name, 'Chingay', was coined from its phonetic Hokkien equivalent, which means 'the art of costume and masquerade'.

The adidas Sundown Marathon is Asia's only mass night running event. With the inclusion of a 21km category, this is the only "dusk to dawn" race in the world to provide a full suite of race categories. 20,000 runners are expected to participate.

Maya Dance Theatre, Singapore and Quantum Leap, Australia presents STANDING IN LINE IN ORDER OF HEIGHT, a dance production which explores the subject of conformity versus individualism within our societies at The Esplanade Theatre Studio from 17-19 June 2010 at 8pm and 3.00pm (19 June 2010).

Like a heartbeat, a river brings life and transforms the city and its people with endless possibilities. Pulse is an interactive art installation that pays tribute to the Singapore River and demonstrates the affinity between the river and our city state. Celebrated by a team of prolific designers, artists and musicians, this art installation project brings visitors through a multi-sensory journey from historic past to the imaginary future of our Singapore River.

Catch the transformation as five traditional bumboats turn into whimsical giant paper boats and cruise down the waterway, passing by Clarke Quay, Boat Quay and Marina Bay. This colourful bumboat parade will bring back nostalgic childhood memories of growing up along the Singapore River. Enjoy enthralling performances by local award-winning dance company, Fireflys, which fuse elements of dance, music and fire.

The HiPPO River Show is a mobile performance on water and the first of its kind in the region. Specially conceptualised for the Singapore River Festival, the 30-minute HiPPO River Show will feature an array of musical performances with the dazzling nightlife along the Singapore River as a backdrop. The live performances range from Chinese instrumental music and modern jazz numbers, to ‘mandopop'/xinyao sing-alongs and contemporary acappella music.
